About The Instructor

James Galluzzo

James Galluzzo is the principal consultant and owner of HRJ Strategies, LLC, a company providing leadership training and development to help businesses maximize their human capital potential. He has over 25 years of human resources, leadership development, and strategic planning experience.

Formerly an HR subject matter expert for the United States Army, James has served in a variety of military and civilian HR positions. He has provided his expertise to small private sector companies and government agencies. James has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Mathematics and an MBA. He is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). 

James is the author of a comprehensive study guide for the SPHR and PHR certification exams and has been an Adjunct Instructor at the college level, teaching non-traditional students business concepts and strategic communications. He also serves on the National Executive Council for a military-affiliated, professional organization as Vice President in charge of Information Technology and Strategic Communications. 

His purpose in teaching this course is to offer new managers important lessons in providing feedback in a way that is less intimidating and builds engaged teams.
