He has been a registered nurse in the United Sstates for many years, working in the states of Maryland, Florida, and New York. He has worked in medical hospitals, mental health facilities, and as an instructor in nursing schools, teaching both in-person and online. He has also worked indid medical home care, psychiatric home care, as well as management and administration. He has been a director of nursing, a floor nurse in various settings, and served as an infection control nurse and employee health nurse. He wrote policies and procedures for a hospital, and he taught orientation classes for new hospital employees.
