Let’s start by understanding what defines a laissez-faire leader. A laissez-faire leader is someone who takes a hands-off approach to management, allowing team members to make their own decisions and work independently. In summary what they are saying is, “You handle the work, while I step back”.
This leadership style is characterized by minimal direct supervision and a high degree of autonomy for team members. Laissez-faire leaders trust their teams to take responsibility for their work and outcomes.
